We should add National African American Parent Involvement Day to the calendar on the website: February 10th, 2020: All parents/caregivers are invited to spend all or part of this day in the classroom with their children. Started in 1995 by distinguished educator Joseph Dulin of Ypsilanti as National African-American Parent Involvement Day, this day encourages all of Burns Park Elementary School parents / caregivers to become more involved in their student’s education.
