Yearbook
The Burns Park Elementary yearbook is a year long project that documents the class activities, parties, field trips and spirit of the school. Although the yearbook committee is responsible for assembling the book, it can’t be done without photos from everyone!
The yearbook volunteers can take a variety of roles that can be done inside and outside the school. Roles include:
- Set up the folders for people to upload photos (based on grade or event) in the yearbook content management system
- Photo call outs - volunteers email room parents, staff, and families the link to upload photos and explanation on how to tag them and place in the appropriate folder
- Photo reviews and organization - volunteers review submitted photos to ensure they're school related and placed in the correct folder to help with layout
- Photographer - pop into Burns Park to take photos of new students or from classes/specials that are missing from the yearbook
- Layout/design - volunteers work from home to design and place photos in the yearbook
- Yearbook Purchasing - help plan and publicize the yearbook when its time for purchasing
- Distribution - help organize and distribute yearbooks
Please remember the goal of a yearbook is to have everyone look back and see a fair representation of what their school year was like.
We cannot accept photos from ANY family events, playdates, birthday parties or sports outside of BPE (to include rec and ed). Thank you all in advance for your contributions!
