Welcome to Burns Park
If you have a student who is attending Burns Park Elementary for the first time, a BIG welcome to our school community! Moving to a new school, city or country can feel disorientating and isolating. If you have any questions about our school or processes, please feel free to contact the new family liaison, Kate Brummett, at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll do our very best to find answers for you.
Your child’s teacher will be able to answer many of your questions, but we all know that there is so much more to thriving at school than just the classroom.

Getting to School
A member of the BPE staff will at the bus stop to greet your child in the morning and make sure they get on the correct bus in the afternoon.
Likewise, BPE staff members will be in the carpark to assist children who are being dropped off. To ease congestion, and keep the children safe, the school asks that students in K-2 be dropped off in the car park, while upper elementary students are dropped off on Wells Street.
At the beginning of each school year, your child’s teacher will check with you and your student about your family’s after school plan.
Lunches are available each day in the school cafeteria. You can preview the upcoming menu online.
Lunches may be paid for in the office. You can also make payments online.
