Welcome to Burns Park

If you have a student who is attending Burns Park Elementary for the first time, a BIG welcome to our school community! Moving to a new school, city or country can feel disorientating and isolating. If you have any questions about our school or processes, please feel free to contact PTO, at  info@bpepto.org and we’ll do our very best to find answers for you.

Your child’s teacher will be able to answer many of your questions, but we all know that there is so much more to thriving at school than just the classroom.

Getting to School

The Burns Park Elementary bus schedule

A member of the BPE staff will at the bus stop to greet your child in the morning and make sure they get on the correct bus in the afternoon.

Likewise, BPE staff members will be in the carpark to assist children who are being dropped off.  At the beginning of each school year, your child’s teacher will check with you and your student about your family’s after school plan. 

Lunches

Lunches are available each day in the school cafeteria. You can preview the upcoming menu online. 

Before and After School Activities

After School Programs offered through AAPS Rec & Ed

There are many after-school programs offered through Rec & Ed. You will get advanced notification of these through your child’s "Back Pack" mail, you can register online and you can also pick up a copy of the catalogue in the BPE school office.

Get Involved

There are so many ways to get involved at Burns Park Elementary. Reach out to your child’s teacher, take a look at the volunteer opportunities, or consider coming to one of the upcoming school events and look for a member of the PTO board in the purple lanyard.
