Science Olympiad
Science Olympiad is an county wide event with fun, challenging events for students of all elementary ages! Volunteers coach teams of students (grades 2–5) competing in the Washtenaw Elementary Science Olympiad. Teams meet weekly during late winter and early spring to practice. There is a final competition against teams from other schools in Washtenaw County. (Feb-May)
Information for 2023
There are 14 events this year! Most events involve building and testing things like paper airplanes, clay boats, or straw rockets, and then competing in a challenge at the tournament. A few events involve learning about a topic like birds, the human body, or chemistry, and then taking at test at the tournament.

Practices start February 12, and take place every Sunday afternoon until the tournament on May 13. (except for Spring Break).
Registration has closed for this year. We have limited openings. Please email us if you would like to sign up.
