Mix It Up at Lunch! For the second year, Burns Park Elementary School will participate in an international event, Mix It Up at Lunch Day, on December 10. Students on BPE's Kindness Committee have planned this event (and they plan to have other Mix It Up events this year, too!): second, third, fourth, and fifth graders will receive randomly assigned colored wristbands from their teachers, and they will sit during lunch at the table whose tablecloth matches their wristband. Students in this first cycle of the Kindness Committee have come up with conversation starters and will serve as ambassadors at each table.
